Anyone Running 15x10 Front & Rear

Wondering if there are any issues with clearance on the front. Post up your pics if you have them.
Thanks

Re: Anyone Running 15x10 Front & Rear

I'm running 17x10s. 275/50 17s on my 70. In stock form I didn't have any issues. But when I put dropped spindles and disk brakes on it, it pushed the front tires out about 1.5" on each side. check out my build thread for pics.

Re: Anyone Running 15x10 Front & Rear

I've got 275/60/15s on 15x10 wheels on all 4 corners. Disc brake conversion in front and 3" drop springs all around. I've never rubbed anything with the tires.

Re: Anyone Running 15x10 Front & Rear

Thanks Guys
Chevymad, That's the same set up I'm looking at. Do you have any pics?
Woodwright, was it necessary to narrow your xmember because you're running 17's? I really have no interest in doing that. I'd just stick to my 15x8's. I have a chance to get some nice 10's with tires on the cheap. I've got the stuff to do the disc swap (thanks garagedude) but if it won't all work together I'll pass on the rims.

Re: Anyone Running 15x10 Front & Rear

This appears to be the best pic. I'd take a more current one but the truck is apart for paint at the moment. The wheels have a 4" backspacing. But if I'd known that the disc conversion would move them out an inch i'd have used 5" on the front instead. With drums and a 69 rear the 4" is even with the fender lip. The newer width puts them just outside the lip. We've run this truck on this same size wheel/tire combo since 86. But used to have slots on it.

Re: Anyone Running 15x10 Front & Rear

I narrowed the crossmember because I already had wheels. After I put on all the new spindles and rotors, the tires were out even with the fender lip. The plan was always to bag this one and set it on the deck. This is a farely easy fix if you can order wheels with custom backspacing.

Re: Anyone Running 15x10 Front & Rear

Thanks guys. Picked up the set yesterday from craislist ad. I def have to put my tires on them. He had 265/50's, waaay too short.

70short and xmitsu10 what tire size are you running.
chevymad those are very similar to what I got.
Thanks Woodwright, not bagging mine just the 3" drop in front. Should look close to 70short's

I was running 275/60/15 at that time. When I dropped the truck, I went to 8x10 up front with 255/60/15.
