I also like the thrush turbos. I had a set on an 84 Olds Cutlass 4dr. my ~375HP 355 sounded just like the pony guys with aftermarket pipes. stealthy ride hehehe

Good job...I love Thrush Turbos....no better sound for a mild small block IMO. Mine have 3" tips in back that gives them a rumble up to about 45 or so, then they go silent at highway speeds....great for trips!

On the subject of that lifter noise you have..............it could be a leak as previously posted...........................check the flange gasket and all bolts and the collector gasket.

thanks Andy, I appreciate that. Bottom line is we live in a society where know one accepts responsibility for their actions. It's always somebody else's fault. Cops are like teachers, there are bad ones and good ones. All you can do is hope you don't get the bad one.

Listen, I know there are some real a-holes out there. Hell, I work with a couple of them

. I've told them a thousand times that they need to learn to talk to people with respect until that point is reached where it is no longer an option. I agree some of them do have a complex where they have to be an ass. We could go into all kinds of psychological reasons why they're like that. I prefer to play the dumb ole country boy po po who at the end of the traffic stop you end up handing me all the contraband in the car

all the while being as respectful and nice as I can be.
