picking up a "project" / parts truck.
Not sure what to do with it.... engine sounded good over the 4th of July, but is running rough now according to owner....
1970 C-10 Fleet lwb, with a built 350. different gas tank in place, but original is still there. non-tach guage cluster repainted many many years ago. Ford heavy duty rear bumper with some custom welding no idea what trans it has.... rough and rusty... will post pics as soon as I can get some... it's about 4 hours away from me right now.....

Truck is now at my parents place. No pics yet, but did verify it has an automatic trans. assuming TH350.

Re: picking up a "project" / parts truck.
I think I'm going to swap this '70 grill onto my '72.
I need to get a better look at the door bottoms too. I might do some swapping of door innards and such

Re: picking up a "project" / parts truck.
70 door innards are not the same a 72.The posts on the relays(door latch mechanisms) and the window regulators(They roll the windows up) are longer.I think they will fit if you use the door panels. The 72 doors also have a screw at the base of the vent window which helps keep the door from spreading in that area. The doors will swap complete.

I have a spare set of '72 doors at home, too. bottom is rusty, but I'm trying to determine if they are rustier than my original doors.....

Re: picking up a "project" / parts truck.
yeah. it's been used just during the summers the last 10 years or so,to haul a boat to the river....
just needs either a fan to fit the water pump, or the correct waterpump for the fan. and an air filter and housing. Just an open top holley at the moment...

Re: picking up a "project" / parts truck.
Got the '70 running this past weekend. new plugs, and new fuel filter. started right up.... engine has plenty of power.
drove it to get some gas, and used it to haul some garbage....
