Newbie here

Just found out about this board from a member here, (sorry, don't know your name here, its 86swb on the other one, I think) Wish I would have come across this thing a long time ago! I've just looked for a few minutes and have found lots of good info. I can never find people who know about these trucks when I need it.

My first vehicle was an 82 swb silverado. I loved that thing. With all the high hopes I had for it, it just wasn't worth the effort to fix it up. It had rust everywhere, the old 305 was worn out, amoung other things. Then I went the Honda route. Well, I'm back where I belong. I love the 81-87 body style. I have an 84 silverado now. 355, edlebrock intake manifold, holley 4 barrel carb, lowered 5/7, shaved side mirrors and rain gutters, platinum tint, interior is gray leather, paint is red and the bottom is silver. I'm about to repaint the entire thing, inside and out. It's gonna be black with silver tribal flames, with hot pink outlining the flames. Interior will be fiberglassed and painted silver, fuscia ACC carpet, cadillac escalade rear bench seat, and caddy guage cluster. This should take a while, but I started sanding it this week, so the paint is on it's way.
