never broke into one but a few ideas i had would be a slimjim (idk if it will work on those trucks) try the back window see if it will slide open, vent window, or i think you could take the seal around windsheild off and use a suction cup to lift.. there might be something way easyer just my thought

vent window or a coat hanger in the crack between the window and the door skin.
Looks like a cool project. I am suprised some one left her behind. I would hit the net and search for those clubs and find out the history behind that truck. With the 205 and the axle stiffeners I would bet some one out there helped turn a wrench o n this truck.

I have those same AC controls in my 81 GMC swb.. and the truck never came with AC to begin with. The firewall is as smooth as it can be..

be careful with the vent window. i now have a piece of lexan for my pass, side. you wont believe how easy they shatter until it happens.
