Good price for these parts?

I'm not having much luck finding a good short bed for a decent price and thought this might be a better idea. I figured I would just shave the fuel doors and use a fuel cell so the matching fuel doors arent really a concern. so I guess my question is if these seem to be a good price? Yes, they are aftermarket and he said they are in pretty good condition with only a couple dings on them

Re: Good price for these parts?

Any other opinions? just seems like it might be cheaper/easier than buying a bed and doing a bunch of body work.

Re: Good price for these parts?

mine not good enough? Just kiddin. I'd rather buy a bed thats already together. Ive got a 8 footer that has gm box sides on it and just isn't the same as a all orginal gm bed from factory. Doesn't seem as sturdy if you will. If a bed isn't available, then this seems like a good deal like I said above.

ha ha, that was the original plan but seems like I cant find what I want when I have $$. Guess we all know how that works though, I should probably try to be patient and just wait until I find what I need

Re: Good price for these parts?

The dent in the pass side looks to be a good one . I am sure there are other dents that arent pictured . Since he has 3 he obviously sells them . It would seem to me that he should have been able to sell them without having to bundle them so they may not be worth the price . If you are able to look at them in person and determine the true condition , it would instantly be clear what they are worth .

Dude, you are the king of clean rust free beaters. Don't tell me you can't find a smoking deal on a rust free bed. I am so dissapointed...

Actually there are a few decent beaters for sale here but they are a little out of my price range. Anybody want a nice shortbed with not bed? h ha
