radiator and support
i need to replace the radiator and support on my '72 C10. anyone know what all needs to come off in order to get the support out? i got the radiator and grille out. does the bumper need to come off? any tips/advice? thanks.

The fenders and inner wheel wells also attach to the core support.So does the battery box/tray,the voltage regulator,and various wiring.That's what I can think of off the top of my head.

quite a few bolts to remove to get it out...I hope the lower bolts on your core support are not as rusty as mine...I ended up torching mine off.

Yep,forgot the hood hinges are bolted to the fenders.

how do the hood and hinges have anything to do with removing the radiator support?

Fenders and inner fenderwells are bolted to firewall and core support.The hood,is bolted to the fenders.All the weight on the front of the fenders rests on the core support.
