Re: will these doors fit my 79
you will need the power window/lock harness that runs from door to door under the dash along with the power lock relay. it is all plug and play
here is a thread with some info http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=314764

Re: will these doors fit my 79
Those doors have factory power mirrors...NICE find.
77-91 doors are identical, 73-76 are different on the inside (along with the guts).

Re: will these doors fit my 79
You gotta tell me what those came off of!!! They look like they have the later style sail mirrors on them!! Must have come from a 90-91 blazer suburban. I didn't know they came factory on those, always thought they had dumbos!!! Lemme know.

Re: will these doors fit my 79
$150 a pair is a smokkin deal. I personally would have no problem paying $150-200 for each if I needed them and they were in as nice of condition as they appear. I have seen the mirror setups go for 200 and up on eBay!

Re: will these doors fit my 79
Definitely worth it. They were available on the late 89-91 Suburban and Blazers with Silverado trim. They were also an option.

Re: will these doors fit my 79
just go to the junk yard and get you a power window/lock harness, and a double window switch for the drivers door, (you might also need the wiring from a pick up door not sure)

Re: will these doors fit my 79
Yeah, that was the first time I had ever seen those mirrors on one of our trucks!!! I wonder, will they bolt in the same place as the dumbos? I have always liked that newer style of mirror, folds right out of the way easy!

Re: will these doors fit my 79
if you bolt them in the same spot, you would not be able to open the wing windows

Re: will these doors fit my 79
The power mirrors are moved to the rear of the door slightly so that you can open the vent windows. If they were bolted in the same place as the dumbos, it would prevent the vent window from opening because they sit closer to the glass than the dumbos.
