Can you tell what year it is?

My friend told me the local scrap yard had a '67-'72, and took a couple pics of the driver fender which I could really use, said it was somewhat solid. My understanding is that a '72 truck won't accept 67-68 fenders, only 69-72. Can you tell from these pics if it's a 67-68 or a 69-72? I would only be able to tell if I saw the front of the hood. Sorry for the lousy pics.

That's a 69 or 70 fender, 67-8 had a bowtie with a # underneath. You'll be fine.

I think it will work.It looks like the grille is a 69-72 model the way it is visible at the front of the fender.

That's correct, it's a 69-70 (drum brakes and grill showing at top lip of fender).

while it is the right style, you better inspect it real close. That door looks nasty, and new york is no better than any other area here when it comes to rust.

It may also be a bear to get off since it has been sitting after being in the salt belt.Make sure to take some PB Blaster,Kroil, or Knock'er Loose since WD-40 will be useless.

Re: Can you tell what year it is?

Yeah I will, I'm on a budget build and at first glance it looks better than my fender, If I can get it off of there I can get it for free.... The door looks like swiss cheese though. Good to know it's worth looking at since it will fit. Thanks guys.

Re: Can you tell what year it is?

I`d pull those mirrors off real quick, including the 3 funny little top bolts on each side. They`re factory and just the thing for a C/30.
