Need some opinions/input - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Stock 82 grill. I am painting the insides black and leaving the outer gray/chrome(you will see in the pics what I mean). Bezels are done, they were easy and turned out pretty good.

Now here is where I ran into a couple of different ideas and i would also like some input or other ideas as well:

Like I said I'm open to other ideas as well so let me know what you're thinkin'!!

tell ya what i like it i wanna see it installed on the truck.... i have an 82 myself and that idea looks great thus far id leave those little cross bars silver tho

I was thinking the same, going to be alot of time masking them off!

it would be a lot more work, but i think it would look cool if you did them like billet grills, where the tops and bottoms are black, but the front of the slots are silver

i wouldn't paint the slot's.that way if your not happy with the look,it's no biggie to paint it all.
