short stepside measurement needed

as i have rear fenders for the 57 at the moment, i need a measurement,
from the rear of the rail going forward to center of wheelwell opening

I can get you a measurement off my '55 step if you will clarify which rail(?) you want a measurement from.

Measured from the rear edge of the rear stake pocket forward to the center of the wheel well opening - 40 inches. I used the axle centerline as the center of the wheel well.

thanx man, i will have to post pics later. but a guy i talked to a couple of weeks ago just dropped off a pr of rear (rough as hell) fenders for FREE, yes i said FREE
