Sagging headliner fix

Those of you with 03-07 Classic Ext. cabs that are sick of the sagging headliner, GM finally has a fix. I am a trim tech at a Dealer and this has been bugging me on my 06.

Most Ext. Cab trucks have a bare edge showing/sagging above the front and rear seats on both sides.

See your dealer and mention GM PIT4531 (Document # 2035326) This PIT gives new part numbers for the door opening weatherstrips that has a added lip that covers/supports the edges of the headliner.

Part numbers are 15860833 left and 15860834 right.

Re: Sagging headliner fix

Wonder if they have one for '02 4 door? Mine is sagging a little, but out of warranty now. Not bad enough to spend too much to fix it, but maybe soon. Good to know.

Not sure on that, but I bet the weatherstrips for a 07-08 crew cab would work. The ones on my truck look just like the new body style ext cab seals.

Re: Sagging headliner fix

Wish I would have known that before I got rid of my '99, that really bugged me. Mine actually started doing it on the front doors also.

Re: Sagging headliner fix

I would like to get a fix for the leading edge (above the windshield) for my 93 Silverado.
