Sticky steering wheel
What do I use to get the sticky goo off of my steering wheel in my 84... its a nice wheel and I would like to keep it but if I cant get the sticky mess off of it I am going to ditch it...

I remember my friend had the same problem.. I think he poped it off and washed it with warm water and Tide soap. He tried a bunch of other stuff but non of it really helped

Mr. Clean magic eraser, it cleaned my old stock wheel right up!!

i had alot of junk sticky stuff on the interior and i used simple green and it cleaned things like new then i rinsed it off with water on a towel

I used simply green on mine. Worked for about a month then slowly started getting stickier. Back to being really bad on hot days.

I cleaned with simple green and then tossed on a cover. I also like the feel of a thicker wheel, otherwise it seems like I'm driving a lawn tractor.
