Drives Great In The Snow...

So here in P town we woke up to a nice white layer, very rare for our town. I couldn't resist taking the '68 out for a couple donuts. It actually drove surprisingly well for what it is.

Looks like fun!
What kind of head lights do you have and where did you get them?
Thanks.

Re: Drives Great In The Snow...

What do the decals represent? They really look great, as does the rest of your truck. I really wanted a maroon truck, but mine is dark blue, way too much work to do a complete color change.

Re: Drives Great In The Snow...

Thanks guys, I don't know anything about the lights, when I bought the truck they were installed. They work well though, nice and bright. Thanks OLDIRON, that explains the Yenko history way better than I could.

Great History link on the Yenko, I was not aware of them. Glad to be educated.

Don't you love the way the snow brings out the blue in your headlights?

Re: Drives Great In The Snow...

Cool pics

My 67 saw snow a couple times back in NY when it hit earlier than expected (before I had swapped plates to my winter beater). I would never say it drove well Dang rear end broke loose every time I touched the gas and stopping was always... interesting.

Re: Drives Great In The Snow...

Thanks guys, yes I like the way the blue lights look in the snow! I never actually drove it on public roads, I just drove around my long, long driveway.
