I thought it was state law in Cali, that the seller was responsible for the vehicle topass smog, and that it was illegal to sell one that can't pass smog (not that it matters right now on a 68... but it is mentioned in the auction)
Sure does look clean though

Right now it has 23 bids and is at $2150. Andy, did you notice the oil fill tube at the front of the intake. It is supposed to be a 350 engine and I don't remember a 350 with an oil tube. Guess I'm gettin' forgetful in my old age.

It looks like a GM replacement engine and most likey the intake was swapped over from the original 327, which would have had the oil tube. A 350 was never offered in '68 so you know it's not the original engine.

Looks like a good deal overall.

A 350 WAS offered in '68, but not in trucks... not many people seem to remember the 350 came out in 67 in the Camaro SS

13% buyers premium...I hate it when auctioneers do that! Looks like a clean truck. Can't see paying that much for it without a bed though.
