are the stainless bolts sold by ace hardware suitable for fenders,hood hinges,and the like.I know no suspension

Make sure you use a good "anti-seize" on the threads. Stainless likes to gall up. I use Neverseize brand.

Make sure that they sell 300 series and not 18-3 that will rust, not as bad as steel but it will rust, you can put a magnet on 18-3.

I bought a kit from (thinking) Carolina Truck something. I ordered a kit that did not include the bed hardware. Price is sky high though, And after putting a few parts together I relized I would still have to research what goes were. I guess these kits are general i.e multi-year. I am guessing $300 for the complete body, cab mount and radiator kit. Told you. But they are button head.

Polished button head stainless bolts look great. They are very easy to polish yourself. Most large cities will have a nut and bolt wholesale place which is way cheaper then the speciality places that put kits together.

Yeah, That's it totally stainless.

However I have not found any kind of bolt size chart though. I remember having a hard time finding bolts localy that were the correct thread pitch. Look at sites like GoodMarkIndustries, In their online catalog I believe they refrence some sizes.
