Brake upgrade
Its been a while since I built an early chevy Ive got a 67 and want to upgrade to front disc but retain 6 lug and go to power brakes Which 73-87 should I look for, will the suburben or 3/4 ton fit or if I use half ton do they make a 6 lug rotor to fit?

From how I understand it, the 6 lug rotor is different. Your best bet is to upgrade to a 6 lug Suburban or 3/4 ton square body. It is the easiest and works out better for the power disc brake system, i.e booster, prop valve etc.

GM never made a 6 lug 73-87 2wd. you would have to use the 5 lug stuff, and have the 5 lug stuff redrilled to a 6 lug.
i would just get a kit from one of the board vendors for the brake parts themselves. as for the booster, m/c, and proportioning valve, anything from a 71-87 should just bolt in. i'd look for something from a 3/4 ton for better stopping power.
