Anyone put a stainless mesh behind their 67/68 stocklike grill--somewhat like a 67 GTO? If so please post a pic. tks

I ordered 6 running feet of 48" wide 8 x .032 T304 stainless mesh and I plan to try it. Will post my progress. Goal is to use a minimal amount and to perfect the fastening of it.

Has anyone thought of putting it between the grill and the grill molding? Doing this would also allow you to put it over the turn signals to "hide" them somewhat, especially with the clear lenses.

You can go to Lowes and get that exact same mesh for about 2 bucks. Its made to cover the gutters on your house to keep out leaves. I used 2 pieces of it to make this grill for my Tahoe. It doesnt show up well in pictures, looks better in person.
