Is there a trick to installing a bench seat cover?
I got a new seat cover & foam and although I'm not sure I'll keep it, if I do I want to install it correctly without any issues. It would seem pretty straightforward to me, but will it be easy or is there a trick to installing one so that it fits well?

Brad, I installed mine back in the summer. I would recommend picking a very hot day and let the cover lay in the sun for an hour or so before installing it...but those days are few and far between, especially in Oregon at this time of the year. Your best bet is to turn the heat up in the room/garage that you plan on working in. Just make sure it is soft and pliable. Post some pics for us.

 i also did mine back in the summer. was my first time and it turned out great

Agree with the above. Summer is best or a warm garage. Spray silicone will also help to slide the covers on.

if you're not concerned with factory "correctness" try using black zip ties instead of hog rings (shouldn't see them anyhow). they're easier in my opinion. Don't forget to put new burlap between the foam and springs, otherwise it will cut and sag.

i've always put the seatcovers in the dryer for 15min or so prior to installing and had a hair dryer handy during the install for streaching and wrinkle removal

I did mine a year or so ago. It came out good but I didn't realize it had a broken spring. It poked a hole in it.
