Wheel/Tire Size

I'm thinking of getting 15x8, 4.25 backspace Cragar's for my 72 C-10 long bed, and would like to run 275/60/15’s all around. Will these fit OK? Anyone know if they will stick out past the wheel wells? Also, I would like to get a 2/4drop at some time down the road. Will this setup also work with that drop?

Re: Wheel/Tire Size

You'll be fine.

Here is my old truck with 15x8 and 4.25 bs on all 4 corners.

Lowered 4/6

275/60 on back
245/60 on front.

If you ran only a 2 inch drop on the front, I think your 275s would clear. The tires will clear on the back no sweat regardless of the drop.

Re: Wheel/Tire Size

wow, that 275 tire looks bigger than I thought. Does anyone else have any pics of this size tire on our trucks?

Here's my truck . I have 15x8.5 tt2's with 275-60-15 firestone indy 500 tires on all four corners . I have (about) 3'' / 5'' lowering kit on this truck . As you can see theres plenty of room and they have never rubbed . The offset is 4.25/4.25 i think . I ordered these out of summit racing catalog and they knew what it needed. Good Luck . Buying a set of wheels that dont fit or look bad sucks . I had a bad experence with a new set of 20'' being the wrong offset and dont want you to go through that . good luck - curt

This pict shows the fender well better the shadow of the other pict makes it hard to tell where the tire stops and the inner fender begins . I know this setup will work for your truck . curt

Did you have to custom order the wheels? I thought tt2's come with a 3.75 backspace? I think those are the wheels combo I'm going to go with.
