Question Q about optional 6.2L Diesel in a '82 Blazer

I've been lookin for an older Blazer and I found one but I have no idea about these diesel engines. If anyone knows anything about them I would appriecate the Help. Thanks Joe

i know if u change the tank and break booster a good running smallblock bolts right in then there is no more diesel problems sorry i couldn't help u more lol

JOE, find ME a 74 sNORTON and I'll help you out ,<grin>,
If you arelooking for the ultimate fuel mileage Blazer than they are known to be stingy but can also be very fussy and big $$ to fix. they are Dogs with a capital 'D' no matter how they try to uprate them to you.low end grunt,and oh yeah they smell bad <grin> but I believe RedIH on the forum is good with them. DAVE

Buy the Blazer, keep it registered as a diesel, drop a 350 in it and you don't have to worry about emmission equipment!!

Not sure bout in Cinci, but I knoe here in Columbus, there is no sniffer testing.
Onless you plan an engine swap, i would pass. Those engines were turds.
