How long to change out spindles and A arms

I am looking for a time frame to change out my front A-arms with new shafts, spindles, tie rod ends etc.

4 - 6 hours if you have the correct tools. 8-10 if you have to improvise.

Re: How long to change out spindles and A arms

The lower ball joints need to be pressed in (not sure if you knew that or not) but if you have the tools, set aside a saturday and you should have it done

Be careful with the springs!!!!

I installed drop spindles in my S-10 (almost the exact same suspension set up) and it took me about 3-4 hours. No ball joint or tie rod changes or anything, just a spindle swap. I did it in a parking lot though...

Best of luck, are you dropping it too?

Dave's estimate is about what it took when my son and I did it.
