Re: What is your favorite year model?
Have both a 67 & 72 chevy. And have to say I like them equally.
Drove the 72 until it broke and family came along and it's set parked for 15 years. Went to start the rebuild last year and came across a 67 big window that had almost everything I wanted done and bought it for less than I was planning to spend on the 72. The guy did a lot of work to get it up to 72 standards (disc brakes, emergency footbrake etc... Seems it would be a lot easier to just get a 72 and buy 67 front sheetmetal. Of course I still went and spent more than my budget playing with the 67 |

Re: What is your favorite year model?
In my opinion, the 68 chevy truck is the best looking one ever. I own all year models, but my vote went for the 67-68's no doubt! (dont really like 69-70) Here's a fine example of a 67 with 68 front moldings (nice touch)

Re: What is your favorite year model?
I'm pushing 60 and I've been restoring and hotrodding all these year trucks for a long time and guess what I'm starting on now , a 67swb,lowered and tubbed. It's my favorite look. love this site, thanks, Bob http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...lazer005-1.jpg

Re: What is your favorite year model?
I've been doing the 67 -72 thing a long, long time but I voted for the 67 - 68 models. I really think the front end of the 67 -68 trucks is the cleanest, best looking. I also like the "egg crate" grills in the 71 - 72 models. I still like them, but I just like the 69 - 70 a little less. I've had a couple of really solid, very tight, 69 big block trucks that were in very solid condition. I guess I probably should have voted "I don't care" because I just want to see as many of these old trucks saved and cared for as possible!
