FS: 72 Only Big Block Towers/Stands - OR.

Factory BBC motor towers and mounts just removed off a 72 402 truck, no clamshells with this set. $150... payment by p.p./c.c. or US postal m.o.

They will fit all of the 68-72 C-10/1500, 20/2500 and 30/3500 as a direct bolt in, and also 67's with a little uppper frame rail trimming. The "72 only"title heading is only refering to the fact that these type mounts were only used/found on the 72's originally.

Hey Mel- Weren't the crossmembers different on a 72, than the 68-71? I have heard this is why the 72 BB mounts were different than the 68-71's. Not that they won't fit. I think you just have to drill another hole on the crossmember if you use the 72 mounts on a 68-71. Am I correct?

TTT for ya. That is a great price. I paid a lot more for mine.

Hi Scott, they are a straight foward bolt in deal on the 68-71's, three of the four bolt holes are already there in the bbc position. The below picture shows a 68 short frame with a 72 tower sitting in the bbc postion, the three bolts holes that line up are marked with a blue arrow and you can see the one fwd. (not marked) bolt hole that will need drilled. Thanks for the bump... Mel
