is this the right type of q-jet that would have came on my 79?

your original carb should of had a carb with the fuel inlet on the right front not center. Try and find one mid 70s and up. they are the better ones to rebuild. And try and find one that already has a electric choke so you don't have to convert it. Not a deal breaker tho as its easy to convert.

ok. jw, I have one from the early 80's non computer. just needs to be re-built. thought I might get lucky with that one. thanks! marry christmas
