i need amp help
i have no idea what any of this audio lingo means, but thats okay, i have all you experts, im looking at putting two 12" subs in my blazer
i was thinking these ones because i can get two for $110 http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Sony-...oductDetail.do questions 1: do i even want two tweleves, not two tens or one 15 or something 2: if i get those 12's what amp wouldi want, fairly cheap under 300 3:will they sound okay if i put them in the sidepanels in front of the wheel wells, some kind of box design that is connected or blends with the sidepanels 4: will the amp work under the seat or will it get to hot well yeah |

Firstly, You'll have to move your seat forward about 3-4" in order to be able to mount those subs.
Second, the type/size of sub all depends on what you listen to. I'd go with the 2 12's regardless. Here's an amp: http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Sony-...il.do#proddesc Wire down to 2ohm. Also run good fusing and wiring.

i dont think ill have a problem with the seat, this is what i was thinking basically

I have always been one to have a liking for total system tonality over just BOOM. So I would tend to go for a singe 12 done correctly. This will help you achieve not only great lower frequency response, but also give you the chance to blend into the front stage with ease. I would shy away from Sony products, but thats just me. I would rather spend my money on some non-mainstream equipment as you will get more bang for the buck.
