hi everybody, on my 67 gmc i was driving today i turn headlights on and work good for like 3 miles then they went dark, i kept on driving and got home ok. so i check everything i could up to now so far all the other lights are working fine im thinking is the dimer swtich does anybody know? before i buy it

I say double check the easy stuff...grounds, plugs, light bulbs, etc...

Could be the dimmer switch connection that is what happened to me, the dimmer switch was brand new put the three wires were corroded that is most likely what happened.

also check the dimmer switch. Mine did not work so I tried different bulbs, tried the non-working bulbs in a differnt truck and the worked. Chaged the dimmer switch and wal-la "let there be LIGHT" AHHHHHH...

dimmer switches r cheap//but yes check the easy(free)stuff first dont forget the fuse
