Accelerator Pedal Rod

I keep looking for this part and I find one similar but it says its for a 6cyl does anyone know if this will work anyway if not can anyone tell me where to find the right one....I have looked on many websites and catalogs and they all say the same thing....Any info would be appreciated....

Yeah Ill take one its the rod that goes from the pedal assembly to the carb...

I believe the 6 cylinder rod is longer.

I ended up making one out of 1/4" rod and threading it for the fitting.

I also had to make my own with 1/4" threaded rod, got the idea from someone on this board. Bought a swivel joint for the carb end from here: www.mcmaster.com I also slid the rod into a cut length of coated brake line to make it look better.

You would think they would make something like this for the aftermarket...Mine is all bent up and when the truck was running it didnt fit with the edelbrock carb but it did fit with the quadrajet that was on there before my dad took it off....

Nice set-up I know when I get my motor back from the shop this is going to be my biggest hassle....
