Vlarify "backspacing"
As i read through all these threads, i realize that i dunno what backspacing means. If someone could just tell me what backspacing is, and what distance backspacing i would need on a 72 c-10 longbox for a set of AR torque thrust 2's in 20x8. thanx in advance fer all da helps.

the distance between the inside of your rim (where it bolts to the hub) and the outside of the rim.
I beleive the average rim for our trucks (or most vehicles?) is a 4 3/4 back spacing. I used to own a 94 vette that had rims with a 7-8" back spacing hope this helps
