Pics of 2 or 2.5 and 4 inch drop
I ordered 2.5 inch drop spindles and 4 inch drop springs for the back of my truck from Early Classic last night. Does anyone have pictures of what this will look like installed? Probably should have found some pics before I placed the order but Bud Light said what the hell just order it already.

Re: Pics of 2 or 2.5 and 4 inch drop
I have ECE 2.5/4-inch drop on my SWB. All new springs along with all of the suspension was rebuilt. I recommend it, while you have it apart. Here's a side pix. Front view is on my avatar. The red rallye wheel pix is from a year ago. The aluminum wheel pix is from seven years ago, but is a better view from the side.

Awesome pictures, mine is a long bed but that height looks perfect. I wanted to make sure I could still use it as a truck. Any lwb pictures?

2x4 drop on my 67 Long Bed... Want to go to 3.5x5 (spindles and one inch springs, and Five in back) or airbags. Good Luck.

That looks like more than 4-inches lower in the rear. More like 6-inches in my opinion...maybe the wifes'.....

Re: Pics of 2 or 2.5 and 4 inch drop
It’s an old thread but I had no luck finding 2/4 drop photo so here’s my rear picture. Will post front when it’s done. CPP lowering coils kit with shocks. No notch needed. 17” AR wheels. Last edited by Dicon; 03-04-2018 at 02:34 PM. Reason: Adding parts list |

Re: Pics of 2 or 2.5 and 4 inch drop
I'm looking at just doing the 2-4 coil drop kit from ECE as well. I don't mind it's an old thread, I'd like to see the 2/4 pics.
Thanks for posting! |

Re: Pics of 2 or 2.5 and 4 inch drop
My old '69. 2/4 McGaughy springs. The McGaughy springs in my experience usually sit a little lower than some other springs. A friend of mine bought CPP 2/4 springs the same time I bought these, and his truck say a solid inch higher than mine did.
