headers with a 3spd

i've been searching the forum for this answer, and can't find it.
i have a 67 c10 swb fleetside, originally a 6cyl w/ a 3spd on the column, it is now a 327 and has been converted to a floor shift, i would like to install a magnaflow exhaust system and want to know what headers would work with the least modification, i would prefer long tube, but whatever works.
someone here in town has a set of flowtechs that are supposed to fit this truck, but he doesn't know the model #
i just found this forum today, and i haven't been able to stop reading it yet.
i'll post pics of the truck as soon as i can.

Re: headers with a 3spd

I too have been searching to no avail. I even called Summit and they dont list any (longtubes) for a man. trans. truck. I have Blackjacks (old) on now and need some with large O.D. ...Looks like its Hammer time again.

Re: headers with a 3spd

I used block huggers with out any issues... couldnt use longtubes because of ground clearance.

well, i ordered the jegs headers and they wen't in with no problems at all, i only had to remove z-bar and dipstick tube for installation. now i'm working on the 2.5" magnaflow x-pipe system. i hope this kit sounds half as good as it looks. has anyone installed one of these on a swb w/coil spring rear suspension. the kit's instructions are quite vague and the pics are worse.
any insight would be great.
