Newbie from Nebraska
Hey everyone hows it going? I've been looking at this site the past couple weeks and finally decided to join the family. I mainly joined to get some ideas and tips for my 1972 Chevy C10. Its a pretty plane jane truck with a 250 inline six and a four speed transmission. Still trying to decide whether I want to keep the inline six or drop a 400 sbc I have sitting around. Any advice would be great.
Thanks Farm Built-72 |

Welcome from South Dakota.
Keep the inline 6, they can be built and I think it's very cool when you pop the hood and there's a 6 under there. It seems like everyone wants to throw those good 6's away.

Re: Newbie from Nebraska
Welcome... I'm from Nebraska also
I say if the 6 runs good leave it alone, unless it gets to the point that you dont care about gas and really need more power. Just depends on your expectations for the truck. Post some pics of it! |
