Radiator support space

I got my fenders on yesterday, and the bottom bolt at the rear of the fender doesnt line up. I only have about a 1/4" of space between the support and frame, is there supposed to be more?

Re: Radiator support space

I'm not sure which support you're working on,but the core support mounts are different on 67-68 than the later years 69-72.If you have the wrong mounts you will have lots of trouble lining it up since one or t'other is shorter. If you dont have any mounts then that may be causing you issue.
BTW It helps to be as specific as possible(year, make{GMC or Chevy} ) so that we can give you better input.

Re: Radiator support space

IIRC there is a rubber bushing there. If it's missing the front of your fenders will set low.) There should be a pic on one of the site vendors catalog pages.LMC does not show it well and I can't find a good pic in any of my reference books.Hopefully someone has one they can post a pic of.
