Missed my deadline...but...pics

My goal was to drive it on the road New Year's Day. Well, I didn't make the date, but I sure got a lot accomplished this week. I'll clear the bed wood this weekend and color sand the fenders next week. I restored the original taillight housings and installed GM lenses. It's getting closer!

Man that ruck of yours is looking great! So what if you missed the deadline that you gave yourself. You are so close to being done that it doesn't matter anyway! Wish I could say that I was that far along with mine! You gotta be both proud and happy with it! Be sure to post up some more pics when you get it done! Can't wait to see it! It's a very nice restoration! ...Joe

Looking real nice. You are a lot closer to that drive than I am. Be nice to see your pictures of that B-I-G smile coming through the windshield as you cruise on.

Lookin' good!

Don't feel too bad. I wanted to paint mine back in 1997...it finally saw color in 2006 It was in primer for almost 10 years.

Re: Missed my deadline...but...pics

Thanks for the comments!! As far as tha deadline goes...when I broke the news to my wife, she said " did you actually think we believed you, when you said you would have it finished New Year's Day?? LOL!!
My daughter's Christmas Break will be over Jan.16, and she goes back to college. I promised her she could have the first ride in it before she goes back to school.
I need to get off of this 'puter and get busy!! Time's a waistin'.
Will keep you posted!!
