well first the battery in it died when i tried cranking it earlier this morning so i got a new battery for it and damn shure enough it wont start all its doin is turnin the starter and the fan and thats it so what should i do it ran fine just the other day

well the next steps are to check for ruel and spark.. im assuming its carb so you can either shoot some ether into the carb and see what it does or you can see if you can see some gas in the carb when you crank it ( this is dangerous) or you could pop off the fuel line by the carb and see if its getting to the carb..
for spark you take off a plug wire and put a screwdriver in it.. lay it near a ground and see if you see a blue spark between the screwdriver and the metal ground.. then you trouble shoot from there

Agree on the pull the fuel line off of the carb and crank. The fuel pump could have failed. Dump a very small amount of gas into the carb and see if the truck tries to catch and run. The spark plug is a good way to see if there is fire. The module or the pickup coil in the dizzy may be bad. The module is easy, the pickup coil is more involved and requires removing the distributor.

well i think i fixed the problem i figured out the guy has a manual choke on this truck but the truck is set up for an electric choke so i played with the choke about not really shure what i was doing but the truck started up and puffed out some smoke that smelt like raw gas lol but the only thing is my truck still smells like its running a little rich is this cuz one of my dual exhaust pipes are broke or is it cuz i messed with the choke
