Re: anyone know who makes this bed cover

Looks like it might be a Gaylord. Check out thier website www.gaylordslids.com. Not cheap, but very good quality from what I've been told. Hope this helps.

You might also try Sportsman Pickup Covers in Rogersville, Missouri. They make LOTSA designs of covers. Pretty sure I've seen this style done by them.

I've bought several covers from them over the years, including some custom-designed stuff.

The engine is not right either. The copy clearly states that it is a 400 Small block. The pictures definately show small block, but the SPID shows 400 which would have been a 402 (big block)

Re: anyone know who makes this bed cover

homemade SPID I think as well

nice truck, kinda odd that they ran all the AC parts over top of the engine and didn't swap the alternator over...

could have painted the speedo and fuel needles to match the aftermarket tach...

very nice ride though

That SPID looks terrible. Very nice truck though.

Re: anyone know who makes this bed cover

Nice rig. Looks like the gaylord cover. Besides the stereo, did anyone notice that the doors are 69-70 doors. 71 and 72 had molded panels and screws that helped hold the wind wing channel more rigid.

Actually, it was only 72 that had the molded panels and wing window re-inforcement screw. His panels are correct. His seat covers are not correct and he used long water pump brackets/pullies for mounting his accessories. That is why the A/C comp and alternator are reversed.

Re: anyone know who makes this bed cover

i don't care for the bed cover. The spid has been placed over the orignal one. you can see part of the original on the left hand upper corner. Nice looking but not an original truck. I like the colors.
