I need an emergence brake cable, what do I get ? The auto stores don't carry much or don't have a clue to cross ref. up to what year will cross? also had knee shocks that I am putting in conventule shocks in same problem. also having drive shaft issues but will tackle this first. thanks again for your help

Re: E-brake and shock help

local parts places will probably not have the brake cable, you will need to look at wrecking yards or after market. In the classifieds there is a guy in eastern Idaho with a bunch of trucks he is parting out. Shocks are basically a measure and go to the store to find something to fit, thats what I had to do. Find a counter person that will look in the Rancho, etc. book that lists the specs for the shock, extended and compressed length, connections, etc.

Re: E-brake and shock help

Look up Controlcables.com, those guys and make any thing to match anything. Keep your stock foot pedel and linkage and he will make a cable to match your rear end.
