I installed belltech rear shocks and springs, and I have had alot of side to side bed movement since.

I installed rubber pads, and bolted the bed down real good, but if I grab the bed and push it from the
side I get alot of side to side movement?

Could I have a spring not sitting right? If I grab the panhard bar the moving is decreased
substantially, but it isnt loose.

Any advice?

Is the bed moving on the frame? Or is the whole rear end swimming around on the spring mounts?

I purchased the lowering kit for $100. I was not aware that Belltech was low quality?

Is this true, are they weak as far as coils, or the shocks, or both?

If they are my problem, then they will be yarded off and sold to
Someone with a Ford!!

It is just my opinion but Bell tech,aim or any supplier that has big color ads in all magazines has inferior parts to help pay for the advertising. I have seen trucks in our shop with Bell tech,Aim and Ricky Racer items and heard the complaints and it sounded just like what you said. Any good progressive rate spring in matched sets (eibach,moog,trw) are high quality and I have heard Early Classics are good but I have no experience with them. Shock quality is hands down Doetsch tech,Carrera or QE1 (HAL),. For suspension parts Moog is the only way to go, brake parts go Raybestos or Wagner. Quality parts cost more but you pay for what you get and I want to do it once and forget it, not every 2-3 years.
