Re: Did I Get A Good Deal In This?
If the motor runs good, that's a good deal with just the motor itself, the other stuff is a plus

x2. I just sold my motor alone for 800. It was dressed a little nicer, but didn't have a fresh rebuild

Re: Did I Get A Good Deal In This?
I like that air cleaner idea! I might have to make myself a cold air induction system and use something like that for a carb hat. Would look pretty wicked on a V8 and be a cool looking custom touch.

Re: Did I Get A Good Deal In This?
Heck yeah you got a good deal!
I sold this concoction a couple months ago for $400 and it wasn’t as fancy as what you got plus the one I sold had an unknown amount of miles on it. Nice score!

Re: Did I Get A Good Deal In This?
You got a good deal even if they both needed rebuilding. Round here you would pay $150 just for a buildable core.. That's for just the shortblock without anything else. Looks like you got brackets and all.
