I don't know guys, getting one into that nice of shape would probably run around 25K at least. It looks pretty nice, there are a few things about it that aren't my taste, like the bedliner, and if I was looking to spend that much green the truck would need to be EXACTLY what I'm looking for. No AC is kind of a bummer too. Overall I think he isn't far off on price.
I agree on the craigslist comment, seems like craigslist is best for items under about $2500.

The seller not knowing what kind of mufflers are on it just screams DEALER to me. There's not anyone on this forum who can't tell us what kind of mufflers they're running if their work is anywhere near the extent that's been performed on this one. Seller probably took it in on a trade...or really got a good deal when he bought it.

Well this certainly makes me feel great about mine, as the owner of a 71 SWB 4x4. Mine is currently at the paint shop, and is getting the full treatment. When all is said and done I will have around 15,000 into mine, and it will be as nice as, but probably nicer than this one, and it has A/C. Sure I have added thing like tach, tilt, and hopefuly soon tow hooks, but does that really hurt its authenticity??? I think what we all are failing to remember here is we all like them the way we would have ordered them when they were new,
I for one never had a chance to order one new since I wasnt even around then.

As for the 27,000 asking price, an old car dealer told me one time, "there is an ass for evey seat".
