Tire size question
Shot in the dark here...
On my '06 GMC I am running 245/70-17 tires; stock size. My truck has been lowered 2" front (control arms) and 4" rear (hangers/shackles). I have found what I think is a pretty good deal on a set of suposedly new 20" take-offs. The '07 or '08 rims that look like the mid-80's Iroc rims. These rims have the stock 275/55-20 tires. By my calculations these tires are more than an inch wider (9.6 vs. 10.8) and 1-1/2" taller (30.5 vs. 31.9) than my tires now. Has anyone run a tire size this large on a truck lowered like mine??? It looks like I have plenty of clearance but I am not sure.

Re: Tire size question
I had 2" 4" drop on my truck for a while. As long as you don't go any lower it should be fine. They will definately get into the fenders if you go any lower. My truck is bagged now on 245/40/20s and its extremely close width wise. The back spacing of the wheel has alot to do with it too.
