Ok here's the deal in the rebuilding process got new rear glass and rubber when i put this together rubber seems way to big.Any ideas?

Hmmm... depends on how much too big. Got any pics of the rubber on the glass? I know that most rear glass seals will be a little loose before they are installed.

Nice looking truck by the way.

Maybe yours is the rubber for the with trim option versus not trim option.

Doesn't seem too loose. I would wait and see what your glass guy says. Did you say you ordered trim as well for the rubbers?

If so, I would really recommend getting a glass guy to do the install. As one of the glass shops who we hired to put in a '71 back glass with trim said, "Oh geeze, one of those, I need to send two guys and a donkey to get that in..."

And he isn't joking. If there is no trim you should be ok.

that is tight compared to mine, took about 30 minutes to get mine in, use the ole string and lube trick. worked great for me. yours should just pop in.

Is that the glass you had in before??

When I had a new windshield put in it took a month to get straight...

attempt 1- Glass company brought glass and tried putting it in a seal I bought from LMC. NO JOY

attempt 2- I b*tches LMC out and got another seal sent out, Glass came out again, NO JOY

attempt 3- Glass company brought the glass and a seal, NO JOY

so I was like, wait lets size the glass to my old windshield....hmmm Glass company brought me the wrong glass....imagine that!!

So ATTEMPT 4, Glass company brought me the right glass and within 15 mins he had the glass in and on his way out of the drive way...

SOOO, long story short, are you SURE that is the right glass???

i still have old glass its same size but ill try to install and see what happens i guess. the front is alot tighter
