86 C10 Project Truck
This is my 86 chevy c10 project truck. It has a 383 with 700r4 hooker headers and dual 2.5 exhaust. Trush welded mufflers and a 520" lift cam, roller rockers, 041 heads with 202 160 valves. New doors, fenders, hood, roll pans. 91 gmc suburban radiator support and grille, everything is shaved on the truck cab: seams, rain rutters, door handles. side marker lights. Just this weekend I shaved all the body lines in the bed, shaved the taillights, gas door and stake pockets. Also shaved the rear steps of the stepside bed. The tailights are now LEDs in between the roll pan and tailgaite. Pop-up gas cap on left, front bed rail. Paint is gm torch red with candy apple red flames, bed is color matched spray-in bedliner. Lowered 5/7 with springs spindles in front and flip kit in back. I'm planning to lower it 2 more inches with rear shackles. I also have 411 gears and Auburn posi to go in it soon. I'm building it for show and eventually sell. Comments welcome.

Re: 86 C10 Project Truck
I love the interior. Did you fiberglass everything? Also, how'd you do your front roll pan?

Re: 86 C10 Project Truck
Truck looks good!! Bout the only thing I would say about it is.... Interior is cool, but it kinda sucks from a view standpoint, when you see this nice custom interior, and see a pos seat with stains on it.Its hard for me to judge the interior because of that. And I would take the grill off,and touch it up with some rattle-can at least, because now that you have the new paint-job,it stands out.I understand that one, cause my suburban was the same way when I had it painted. Good job man!!!

Re: 86 C10 Project Truck
Nice job on the bed. I've only liked the newer bed on older trucks when the rear steps are shaved.

Not my style of truck, but I can appreciate the amount of time and effort it took. Looks great

Re: 86 C10 Project Truck
Thanks for the props... The doors and the dash is glassed... As for the seat being stained and a pos it doesn't have any stains just shadows in the pics..The seat is a nice seat, but I am going to get the seat covered in red leather or vinyl soon.. The grille will get replaced also with a billet grille when I can afford it. I have done everything to this truck myself except the exhaust.
