Unfortunately that price seems to be about par for these trucks in Texas. Most trucks I looked at in my area were going for 4K and they all needed cab corners, rockers and were rust around the top of the windsheild. Many of them are barely running. People think all trucks are made of gold here. They have a high resale value and are very popular not just for work but for personal transportation. Most families have at least one truck. Everyone in my family except my mom and sister own trucks, even my wife has a suburban. I got lucky with the trade on my truck. He was going to sell it for 3K. It makes me wanna cry at the deals you guys find. A complete running truck for under 1K that is in better condition than mine. its a shame we have to suffer with people who over value thier trucks.

Hutch,
I called on that truck already. The contact number is a used auto sales lot, but the guy I talked to said that he doesn't have any idea where the ad came from, and that he had about 30 calls about this truck already! VERY STRANGE. I was going to e-mail the online site just to see if they got the # screwed up.
