Little speaker wiring help - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I'm putting a OE am radio back in the dash. I've got 4 speaker wires from the speakers (a + and - on each) and one plug for speakers on the radio. How do I wire those up to get sound from both speakers?

I'm going to take a guess and say both + of speakers to the + of radio and both - of speakers to - of radio. With that being said are the speakers the right Ohms for the radio?

My speakers are only 4 ohm. Decided to go with a single 8 ohm speaker I have. I'm still a bit confused. Is the ground terminal on the radio for the - wire of the speaker and the power termianl for the + speaker wire?

Like I said before I'm guessing because it's a factory hook up and I haven't seen one in about 10 years. Sorry could be any more help. You may want to post it in the audio section also.

My Driver Seeing the USA in a 71 Upstate SC GM Truck Club 2013,14 and 2016 Hot Rod Pour Tour http://upstategmtrucks.com/ Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun! It sucks not being able to hear! LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB! After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
