Suspension Questions

OK, so I have my 72 short bed frame in my shop, upper and lower cntrl. arms all apart, everything ready for paint. Problem I want to reassemble the A arms and then paint, where do you find just the upper and lower A arm bushings? everyone wants to sell a shaft kit, shafts are fine.

Re: Suspension Questions

That's what the shafts kit are. The truck didn't go to bushings until 1973.

Re: Suspension Questions

When I bought my kit, they came with a shaft and a cap, I am not sure I would bother "saving" the shafts, as they are worn I assure you, they are metal on metal and they wear, so new shaft and caps, seals is what I'd do once it's done, forget it except to grease them every so often.
