smoked or tinted tail lights
what is the best way to smoke or tint tail lights, is there a better way than using that VHT stuff in a spray can?

Re: smoked or tinted tail lights
I'd plan on carrying a spare set because the WSP rather frowns on the tinted lens.
Personally I want to be able to show as much light from the stock size lens as possible and not do anything that might cut the ability to transfer light down. |

Re: smoked or tinted tail lights
on my car i sprayed them with krylon for plastics black. then wiped paint thinner across the lighting domes that absorb and transfer the light, worked pretty good

Re: smoked or tinted tail lights
i have a friend that does that to his car [like mine] for car shows.. he uses 5% window cling tint . but its too dark for regular driving so if you want to tint it , get like 35 or 20% from walmart..

Re: smoked or tinted tail lights
It makes me wonder if my truck would look good with the lenses tinted

Re: smoked or tinted tail lights
I have been rear ended twice so I want my lenses to be as red and bright as they can be so that those brake lights can be seen. It might even come back on you if they can show that they couldn't see your brakes lights. Something to think about.
