gas cap help

I am looking for a stant locking gas cap for my 1974 K20, I am looking for the kind that looks like the one in this link

but when I got one that said it fit my truck it did not fit, it would go in and lock but it would be loose and would wable
I found an older stant at a swapmeet and it did the same thing, anyone one no the part number that will work? my truck was made in california, I know that make a difference som times

would it have to be chrome ... and would it have to be stant ... i purchased one from autozone (black plastic locking) and it works perfectly ...

however, looking at LMC, and it does show the california emissions setup ... take a look ...

I would like it to be chrome as my truck is a 74 and does not have the gas doors so the black one would look funny

take a peek at what lmc has ... it appears to me that one might be crome for the emissions ... i'll play around at work tomorrow and see what i might be able to cross for it ... if i can come up with anything ...

I have the same truck, just bought 2 locking caps from pep boys today, part #11492 they're "emissions" ones but whatever, 14 each if u have dual tanks. they aren't Chrome, but shiney, but do have red writing.
