Rack and Pinion
Thinking about fabbing up a rack and pinion steering set up for my 72 Super. Has anyone done this on here or have any advice. I am using a stock crossmember(cant afford a dropmember). I was thinking a rack from a 2000
2wd Silverado maybe. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: Rack and Pinion
Have you checked out the Fatman setup? It accepts a rack and pinion and you can even use your own lower control arms with the setup if you like.

Re: Rack and Pinion
saw a post a few weeks about about a build that included a rack from a 2004 chevy fullsize. i requested more info on any modifications to make it fit, but i don't think he has replied yet. i asked about any modifications at the tie-rods specifically. will attempt to dig up the post.

Re: Rack and Pinion
My old 72 had one like Camaro Thunders in the thread below, but no air ride.
