I have been reading threads on Battery Switches and ran across this. Its a little pricey but.... What do you all think? The good and the bad?

One thing I noticed is the range of amperage ratings between the switches.

what are you trying to accomplish? Look at painless wirings web site. They have a couple of setups that would allow you to use a toggle switch, from under the dash to shut down the whole electrical system, but yet retain memory to what you want. I looke at this the other day 70107 is the part number I think?

Just looking at the cleanest options avaliable. Also I have noticed that there is a wide range of amperage ratings. There is another thread which touches on this subject so I thought it would be good to see what viable options are out there. I think I like the Watson and Painless best of the ones so far. I will end up installing one of these on the Circuit Rider. I only want to do this once.

I'm running the Watson switch in three of my vehicles.
One activated with a remote and the other two with buttons.

Even the tech guys at Watson's are helpful.

I'll buy from them again.

70-80 amp should be a pretty safe set unless your running a sound system. Most modern seem to run around that I've noticed.

Ok...after much reading and googling....I went with the Watson's PressTech TM Touch Pad Battery Disconnect. It looked like the most flexable plus they were very helpful on the phone.
